Le Tête d'Or and No.3 Gin officially enter the Road To New York Cocktail Expo, beginning their journey toward Best Cocktail of the Year at New York's premier cocktail festival.

Every great cocktail has a following.
The Martini. The Manhattan. The Old Fashioned. The Margarita.
None appeared fully formed. They evolved. They changed. People debated them. Communities formed around them.
Now another journey begins.
La Tête d'Or and No.3 Gin now enter the race toward Best Cocktail of the Year.
Located in Manhattan, Le Tête d'Or is Chef Daniel Boulud's French-inspired steakhouse concept — a restaurant designed to merge classic steakhouse ritual and energy with French elegance and refinement. Beyond the dining room, the cocktail program carries that same philosophy, bringing the same precision, hospitality, and craftsmanship into its cocktail program.
Joining them is No.3 Gin, the London Dry Gin created specifically around balance and structure. Built around juniper, citrus, and spice, No.3 has become one of the most awarded gins in the world and has earned a reputation among bartenders as a spirit designed with cocktails in mind.
But this is not simply a cocktail competition.

New York Cocktail Expo — now entering its ninth year — is home to Best Cocktail of the Year, New York's official cocktail competition, held at Melrose Ballroom on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
The Road To New York Cocktail Expo changes the traditional process.
Participating bars don't wait until a final cocktail is finished.
Instead they build a following while building the drink itself.
The audience follows:
• inspirations
• trial versions
• staff feedback
• guest reactions
• successes
• failures
• evolution
• final reveal
The bar that builds the strongest community around its cocktail can earn a direct route to the stage, where finalists compete for top honors live at New York Cocktail Expo in New York City — one of the world's most iconic homes of cocktail culture.
Last year, Izakaya Lucky Cat built a following with Mio Sparkling Sake through the Road To New York Cocktail Expo and used that momentum to bypass the judges elimination round, later winning People's Choice Best Cocktail and finishing Second Place overall — proving how powerful audience support can become.
Now Le Tête d'Or and No.3 Gin begin building their following.
The story starts now.
Follow the Road.
Support the following.
