Spoilers Ahead!
As we approach Episode 2, there are still so many unanswered questions! Will Jaime survive Winterfell? Will Jon face Daenerys with the truth? Will Lady Mormont tear Jorah a new one?! (The answer is yes.) But what everyone is really thinking is who will die next, especially with Arya’s foreshadowing rumination on death in the Episode 2 trailer. That said, here's a nod to Arya’s story with our cocktail... House of Black and White Ingredients: 2 oz Oreo-infused rhum agricole 1 oz Amaro CioCiaro Cream float Oreo crumble garnish Instructions: Combine the rhum and amaro in a mixing glass. Stir over ice. Strain into a chilled coup and slowly add the cream float. Garnish with Oreo crumble. Oreo infusion: Lightly break up a cup of Oreos in a plastic bag with a mallet. Add Oreos to rhum agricole and let sit 4-6 hrs. Fine strain through layered cheesecloth and then strain again through coffee filter (if patience allows). Oreo crumble: remove cream from 5 cookies and blend the cookies to dust. Cream: This cocktail is a riff on Richie Boccato’s Dominicana cocktail (2:1 dark rum:coffee liqueur). The float should be similar to that classic. I take 2 sugar cubes and shake them with a cup of heavy cream in a squeeze bottle until it's viscous enough to be layered.
