OUR STORY
Montanya Rum is batch distilled and barrel aged at nearly 9,000 feet above sea level in Crested Butte, Colorado. We draw on craft distilling and mountain aging traditions to produce rums that are smooth and
not sweet, and full of flavors that are naturally produced not added.
 
Our high alpine location in the Rockies enhances nearly every aspect of making rum, and contributes to our unique flavor
profiles by moving more rum in and out of the oak pores of the barrels during aging. Never any added sugar, artificial sweeteners or flavorings.

TEN TO ONE DARK RUM
A masterful blend of 8-year-old Barbados, Dominican and Trinidadian column still rums individually aged in ex-Bourbon American oak casks, and combined with high ester unaged Jamaican pot still rum. 100% rum with no added sugar, coloring, or flavoring. 40% ABV

TEN TO ONE WHITE RUM
A masterful blend of 8-year-old Barbados, Dominican and Trinidadian column still rums individually aged in ex-Bourbon American oak casks, and combined with high ester unaged Jamaican pot still rum. 100% rum with no added sugar, coloring, or flavoring. 40% ABV
Montanya Platino
Ages one to two years in American White Oak barrels that previously held Colorado’s Laws Whiskey and Montanya Oro. A tiny touch of Colorado honey at bottling brings out the rum’s natural flavors, while a coconut husk carbon filter removes color.
TASTING NOTES:

Montanya Oro
Ages one to two years in American White Oak barrels fresh from Laws Whiskey House. The fresh barrel contributes to a fuller body and richer color. A tiny touch of Colorado honey adds acidity and enhances the natural flavors from the rum and barrel without adding a cloying
sweetness.
TASTING NOTES:
Includes notes of red chili, coffee, caramel, vanilla, pineapple, and chocolate. USA Rum of the Year in Berlin and winner of 8 Silver medals and 1 “Best In Class” designation.
